Health and Safety Policy Statement

The Painting Partnership Ltd recognises its responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and other relevant safety legislation with regards to its employees, sub-contractors and the public who may be affected by its activities. The following statement of policy has been produced in respect of health and safety.

Our objective is to promote and to achieve as far as reasonably possible a working environment free of work-related accidents and ill health and to this end we will pursue continuing improvements from year to year.

The Painting Partnership Ltd also recognises that health and safety should be considered equally to quality and performance when work is being considered or undertaken.

We undertake our health and safety responsibilities by:

  • Promoting awareness of health and safety and of good practice
  • Ensuring that tasks given to employees are within their skills, knowledge and ability to perform
  • Encouraged employees and sub-contractors to contribute towards a work environment that is free of accidents and ill health
  • Identify hazards and associated risks and set in place procedures and workplace precautions that reduce exposure to acceptable levels, and when appropriate we will create Risk Assessments and Method Statement documents specific to the project

All employees and sub contractors are expected to co-operate with The Painting Partnership Ltd in carrying out this policy and must ensure that their own work, so far as is reasonably practicable, is carried out without risk to themselves or others.
